Srinagar Jan19 (KNO) : Describing the unabated cross border firing in Jammu Division as an outcome of wrong Foreign policy on the part of Narinder Modi Govt at Centre, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives due exchange of heavy firing on LOC, as a result, many precious lives were lost, besides leaving border residents homeless. G.A. Mir also hit out at Centre Govt for it’s weak Foreign Policy, resulting in escalation of tensions on Borders causing heavy damages to life and properties. Lashing out at Centre Govt for miserably failing to ensure safety of people living near Borders, G.A. Mir said that unabated cross border firing has once again exposed the hollow and tall claims of Narinder Modi Govt about the situation getting back to normalcy, whileas the indiscriminate firing were increasing, indicating that Centre has no policy or roadmap to deal with the disturbances escalating on Borders, as a result our people continue are facing lot of hardships and threat to their lives, he said. Stating that the indiscriminate firing on LOC has caused agony and anguish among the people, G.A. Mir said people are feeling insecure in their homes, how long our people will suffer due to wrong policies of Centre Govt, when will Centre will wake up, questioned G.A. Mir. Congress President strongly condemned the killing of innocent civilians living near Borders and urged upon Centre Govt to take effective measures to ensure their safety, besides rehabilitating affected people at safer places.(KNO)
